The Most Expensive Thing a Man can Own Is a Closed Mind

Remember when everyone was hyped about the dvd called 'The Secret'? The whole concept was based on the laws of attraction and focusing on what you want and the universe will somehow direct it to you. Well I'm a firm believer of the opposite as well. What I mean is, if you don't focus on it, you won't receive it either. Better yet, if you won't receive it or are unwilling, it CANNOT come to you. When we don't get the expected results in our business, sometimes we look externally first to fix the issue or place blame when we actually should start looking in the mirror. Our subconscious is VERY powerful. We may say we desire something but if our inner thoughts are not aligned with our outer actions, we are just fooling ourselves. Our results are effected by what we believe. It is vitally important to be in control of our thoughts and keep an open mind. My mentor once told me, the most expensive thing a man can own, is a closed mind. Napoleon Hill elaborated on this in Think and Grow Rich, the foundation book for all personal development.
