Embracing Change

A lot of times we resist change because we associate change with pain and our natural tendency is to avoid pain. Many times the change could be for our own good but because the unknown makes us uncomfortable, we choose to follow the familiar, instead of breaking old habits or taking the road less traveled. Change doesn't always have to be external. Most of the time we experience the most life altering changes when they are made from within by re framing how we view something or changing our philosophies. One of my mentors suggested that I welcome change as an opportunity to succeed again. That philosophy has turned fear and doubt into anticipation and excitement.

"No doubt the next chapter,in my book of transformations, is already written. I am not done without my changes" --written by a man in his 70's
